Ken
Pace, Jr., CPA/PFS, CFP, CVA - Founder and President of
Pace and Company, Ltd., has been a CPA since 1973. Ken passed the CPA
exam on his first attempt and received the State Gold Medal for the highest
grade. Mr. Pace has practiced public accounting in his own firm since
1975. Ken has been active in the Mississippi Society of CPAs as Chairman
of the Accounting and Auditing Committee 1984-1985 and Chairman of the
Personal Financial Planning Committee 1991 - 1992. Ken has taught continuing
education courses for the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants.
He also has the distinction of being one of the few CPAs in the state
of Mississippi who carries the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.
Ken is a member of the Mississippi Society of CPAs and the American Institute
of CPAs. He is also a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and a member of
the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA) and the
Institute of Business Appraisers (IBA). (MS CPA License #1551)
Kevin Lightheart,
CPA/CVA - Shareholder and
Vice-president of Pace & Company, Ltd., has over 14 years experience in
various accounting tasks with a concentration in taxes. Prior to joining
Pace & Company, Ltd., Kevin had over five years experience with a national
public accounting firm in Portland, Oregon. Kevin is a member of the Mississippi
Society of CPAs, Oregon Society of CPAs and the American Institute of
CPAs. He is also a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and a member of the
National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA). Kevin
currently serves as the president of the Quarter chapter of Business
Network International (BNI). He is licensed
as a Certified Public Accountant in Oregon and Mississippi. Kevin joined

Jared
Sanders, CPA/CFE - Accounting and Audit Manager, has
seven years
experience in public accounting. He is a certified fraud examiner and a
member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Jared serves as the firm's computer and
technology administrator in addition to his accounting, auditing and tax
responsibilities. He is a member of the Mississippi Society of CPAs, the
American Institute of CPAs, and the AICPA Information Technology section.
He is also a member of the Mississippi Association of Mortgage Brokers (MAMB)
and is currently serving as the Technology and Communications Chairman. He has taught a variety of classes including basic and
advanced Quickbooks®, small business fraud and tax issues
of independent contractors. He earned his Bachelors degree in Accounting from Boise State University.
Jared has been with Pace & Company, Ltd. since August 2000. (MS CPA
